This Four Part Stargazing Course is designed to give you the knowledge you need to become a confident stargazer.

1.) Basic Stargazing

This Presentation is designed to help people that are new to Star Gazing and want to know the basic facts.

It will explain how your eyes work, exactly what Star Gazing is, what you do & don't need to be a Star Gazer.

It will tell you where and when you can Star Gaze along with what you can see and how you can see it.

Finally it will give you an insight into what comes after Basic Star Gazing when your interest in the subject begins to burn like the Stars themselves.-

2.) Intermediate Stargazing

This Presentation is designed to help people that are new to Star Gazing and want to know the basic facts.

It will look in some detail about the main types of objects that can be seen in the night sky and give several examples of each.

It will look at how to view the Sun Safely.

It will give you a practical list of objects that you can see by eye.

It will introduce what comes after Intermediate Star Gazing ?

3.) Advanced Stargazing

This Presentation is designed to help people that are new to Star Gazing and want to know the basic facts.

Do not get confused by the title ADVANCED Stargazing, all four parts of this course are in Plain English and are parts of The BEGINNERS Guide to BASIC Stargazing.

It will explain the coordinate systems used to map the Earth and Sky.

It will explain the systems used to measure short, medium and long (very long) distances in space.

4.) Stellarium Stargazing

The amazing Stellarium Program.

This Presentation is designed to help people that are new to Star Gazing and want to know the basic facts.

It will cover the basics of how to install and use this amazing program.

With this knowledge you will be able to identify almost anything you can see in the night sky and be able to locate almost anything you would like to see in the night sky.

From these four modules you will be able to understand the basics you need to progress from Basic Stargazing to Amateur Astronomy - The next course we will be running. .
